Persons with an unexpunged or outstanding conviction for the following crimes will not be able to work as a taxi driver: 

intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm;
crimes against sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the person;
crimes against public safety;< /li>
crimes against the foundations of the constitutional order and the security of the state;
crimes against the peace and security of mankind. Drivers who have committed such crimes will not be able to drive buses, trams, trolleybuses, or operate subway trains. The amendments that are being made to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, as well as several other laws, will come into force on March 1, 2023. This rule applies not only to Russian drivers, but also to citizens of — members of the EAEU. A criminal record may become expunged after an amnesty or pardon.
